Dear Learning Soul,
It's a hard lesson to learn, isn't it?
The one that says, 'not everyone is going to like you'.
Once you stop bending and twisting and trying to squeeze yourself to fit into every single place you find yourself....once you just show up exactly as you are, and live from that place deepest in you that knows exactly who you are....once you burn the masks and the life-sized cardboard cutouts of the perfect self that you were hoping you could appear to be somehow to everyone everywhere...
...and you just show up in all of your beautiful messy human frailty...
...you are going to feel so free. You are going to shine so bright. You are going to be so 100% relaxed into your exact right self.
You are finally going to be able to rest from all of that performing and pretending and proving.
...and not everyone is going to like it.
But we must do it...we must throw away the heaviness of that human made veneer and lighten our loads so we can fly....so we can shine...so we can live the life we were always meant to live. Shed the shells and the masks and the veneers and the walls so you can stand skin to skin close to those you love with nothing between you...so you can feel each other's hearts and kiss each other's wounds and hear each other's songs.
Be ok with not being everyone's cup of tea.....and just know that the ones who love you just as you are...those are the ones who are worth your time and your love and your life.
It's okay if not everyone gets you. Live from your soul.....be true to you. Be kind to you. Set yourself free.
You are a beloved soul.

This is a shout out, a call for artists of all kinds, to send us your song-bird art for featuring RIGHT HERE in our Daily Truth emails. If you've been featured before, this is your invitation to be featured again! If you haven't submitted before, this is your invitation to BE BRAVE and send your birdies in! There is no jury, no selection committee...we feature them by random drawing...because we love having a mix of all kinds of bird art...from amateur to professional, painting or drawing or collaging or stitching or whatever form YOUR art takes. Just send a .jpg of your artwork, along with your name and website address (if you like) to kathy@bravegirlsclub.com(If you're a professional artist, we have heard that being featured in our emails has resulted in traffic and sales...and we are SO happy about that!)

The story behind these emails...
This is a crazy world that forces confusing lies upon us every day -- lies about what is most important, who we are, who we can become, what we can accomplish, our value, our potential, our worth, what makes our lives meaningful, how & where we can find true happiness, and on and on.
So we've decided to wage our own little war against those lies by sending our brave friends a daily truth. Think of it as a little bird delivering your truth -- and imagine that this truth-teller is someone who loves you and understands you completely.
Our daily emails are a free gift that is sent most weekdays, Monday throughFriday, with all our love and wishes for everything joyful and brave and true.
