Okies. This one was a kicker for me.
Martina is a Holistic practioner/yoga teacher, who actually does more than my brother's Holistic doc. Anyway, she meets Rob...well damn. I dunno why it doesn't hit me until now that he has the same first name as my bro.
The connections are scary.
Returning back to track, she meets Rob while she is modeling the latest lingerie piece for Carrie, Rob's sister. Unknowing that Rob and his friend Aleks, overheard every bit of Martina's plan of attaining mind-blowing, out of this world sex.

Rob's jeans got tighter by the second. Aleks was practically piggy-backed against his body in order to better hear the conversation, and Rob swore he felt...
He turned around quickly. "Keep your johnson away from me."
"Oh. My bad." Aleks backed away. "This is so hot. Are you hearing this?"
"Of course I can hear. Maybe we shouldn't listen anymore."
"Are you kidding?" Aleks motioned to Rob's very noticeable bulge. "You're just as turned on as me."
"Enough!" Rob turned around, slightly embarrassed. "No more penis talk. Just keep your thing away from my body."

*smiles* You gotta give Gina props. Forever is unexpected and drags you in wondering what is it that Martina is running from at the same fanning yourself from the set-your-house-afire sex between the two.

She spun around inside his grip. He was still asleep. He looked peaceful. Come to think of it, she'd slept peacefully. No dreams. For two years. mac had haunted her sleep, and for two yeas Martina had chased a ghost around the world trying to find peace. She never expected to find it in the arms of a stranger.

Mac was mentioned a couple of times, and one really got an impression that maybe this was a guy who did something to Martina and left her. Well, the reader wasn't the only one who thought that, Rob did as well.
Then when I got to the chapter where she explained who Mac was, I had to shut off Bal-lu and walk away.
It was kinda like a sucker punch.
I went through the same thing with my brother, as Martina when through with her sister.
Anyhow, kinda blew me away with this thrown into the story. *sighs* Which is why I put the spoiler thang up top of this blog.
So, I'm gonna stop now, because doing this review was a tad painful to do and remembering is making me etchy...
BUT!! I want to go on record as saying that Forever in Lingerie is amazing! You wouldn't have expected the twist till it grabbed you, and the fact that her past was influencing her future with Rob made for great storytelling.
*And* it was a killer not to cry.
